Description of the service :
Flygoto is an aeronautical geographical information system (GIS aero). First provider of data for aeronautical GPS, this service allows the searching, localization and downloading of information ,as well as the calculation of distances, true course and downloading of more than 400000 GPS ICAO and geographical coordinates, ground frequencies, landing minimum ditances, and various links to the official AIP and so much more... The Web Master as well the FlyGoto representants cannot be held responsible for any potential error on this site. Check latest information (AIP and NOTAM) before flight.
Format of the files available for downloading :
GPX format : (GPS exchange format) is a XML light data format for the sharing of GPS data (waypoints, routes, and tracks) by the applications and the Web services on the Internet http://www.topografix.com

The extensions garmin http://www.garmin.com for MapSource are integrated in this format.
G7T format : the G7ToWin program opens and translates numerous GPS formats,
free download of the software. http://www.gpsinformation.org/ronh. G7ToWin is designed to transfer data waypoints, track logs, routes, between Garmin, Magellan, or Lowrance/Eagle GPS units and a PC.
TXT format : the text formate with separator tab for the download in numerous programs or database, (MS Excel, MS access, Mysql...)
PCX5 format for GARMIN : This format is no longer supported by Garmin International. But always very present. Download manual PCX5 pdf file.
WINPILOT format : a pocket pc flight computer in your cockpit. For plane/ultra light and gliders. http://www.winpilot.com
Naming of the files :
The file names are in accordance with the standard ISO 8601 norm "YYYYMMDDThhmmssZ" in UTC. The signature md5 allows an integrity control of the downloaded file if necessary. Download the software for free. MD5checker for Windows 2000/XP/2003 http://www.softgears.com
Access to the site :
Only the MS Internet explorer 5.x browers and above on Windows, as well as the FireFox 1.x on Windows can access this site. The activation of the cookies, Javascript and style sheet "css" are necessary for the service to operate properly.
Units :
Unless otherwise stated the following units are used in this site, course in degrees 000/360°, date and hours in UTC, distance in nautical miles « NM », height in feet « FT », landing distance in meters « M ». (Warning : when downloading under the GPX format the height is in meters, as it is imposed by the normalization of the GPX format. You have to set up your software to operate the automatical conversion).
Date et hours :
The update dates and hours of the different objects are in UTC, it represents the latest update of the object, whichever the fields that have been updated.
